Mindstreaming takes the following as its guiding principles:
-All people are fundamentally good, excluding none. Everyone has a nature of goodness and that nature has the potential to be awakened, cultivated, and perfected. This being the case, humanity as a whole has the potential to thoroughly lift up, fully manifesting a sane and brilliant society on this earth.
-At this time human society is confronted with great obstacles, and yet it's within our power to direct the way the future unfolds.
-It's doubtful that our current model of fostering change will take us into a future that we desire. Efforts to change things like the environment, world poverty, and economic stability, while absolutely neccessary, are severely hampered unless they are accompanied by a major shift in human consciousness.
-We have the capacity to deliberately innovate this widespread change of consciousness. If we sit down to contemplate and take the time to "think different" we can come up with new ideas and activities for awakening such a change.
-Innovative thinking usually seems naive and/or outrageous in the beginning. This is simply due to our conventional conditioning. Often, leading edge ideas are perceived as being "off" in some way by the majority of people, only to be embraced later on as brilliant ingenuity.
-If we fearlessly step forward into a new paradigm, advancing unique ideas and activities for changing our global mind, we can begin to take stewardship of our human journey forward.
