Vast Positive Change is Possible

When an individual discovers that their life is in turmoil and they decide they want to change that, they take steps to create more sanity in their life. If they are dedicated and stay with it, they can stabilize their commitment to the new path, and at some stage it becomes a way of being. This is also true for groups. When a group of people realizes things aren't going so well and are inspired to change that, they get together and with hard work and dedication can transform the situation. This is elementary. Groups of varying sizes do this, from families, small social groups, businesses, large corporations, and even whole countries have historically demonstrated some success with this kind of transformational process.

Now, what about our situation today with the global population as a whole? How is this different? What's been stopping us from making such a transformation on this level? The most obvious answer is that the scale is too large and the logistics too complicated. It's just not possible to get so many people on the same page and working towards a common goal. However, this answer is incorrect. It IS possible, otherwise the current wave of consumerism sweeping the globe would have never happened. We managed to get a large percentage of the worlds population together on that project, so what's stopping us from catalyzing something similar, only with a more enlightened outlook.

Actually it's not the scale or the complication factor that is stopping us at all. There's something much simpler in our way. The only thing stopping us from manifesting the human society that we want is our own collective belief system. We believe deeply in our own limitations, and we haven't yet been able to see beyond them. However if we can just expand our vision farther, we'll see that there is no limitation to how much we can accomplish towards peace, and our perception of limitations will transform into a perception of possiblities.

There's really nothing in our way, so let's do what we need to do.
